Indie Music Review: Chad Mackey Band
"Acoustic guitar driven "feel good" rock" is how Chad Mackey describes his new album. I couldn't agree more due to the mellow sound this 21 year old from Asheville, NC produces.
Chad's music is a mix of acoustic, rock and pop. His lyrics are inspired by everyday life which makes it easy for listeners to relate to his songs.
He often performs with his fiancée, Lindsay Rodgers. Chad also does solo shows in addition to full band shows. The entertainment section of Take 5 of Asheville Citizen Times' says that Chad is "building a name for himself in the regional coffeehouse and club scene". I can only imagine the large following he must have.
