Have I told you that I really enjoy music? Through writing this blog, I have come to find out that I am not the only one. I have been very lucky to receive so many comments and feedback from my visitors here at What Does This Song Mean To Me?. You have inspired me to start a new series here that will be called "Music Talk". I want your music handprint on my blog!
The "Music Talk" series will be published in the form of individual posts. These posts will consists of your stories regarding music. They could be about how music has affected your life, your favorite song and why, your favorite bands, etc...... Feel free to include a link to a song (such as a video on YouTube) as I often do. You can leave a link to your blog/website which will be included in the post. If you prefer, you can remain anonymous.
Obviously I will read the submissions and decide which ones I would like to publish here. You are welcome to write a title to go along with the post, however I reserve the right to change the title. If your story is published, it will be done with no further editing by me (except for spelling), other than possibly the title.
There have been some wonderful comments left here. Why stop there? Expand on that idea. This would be a perfect way to share your love of music with the world. To submit something to the "Music Talk" series, please send an email to me here. Please add "music talk submission" to the reference line of the email. I absolutely cannot wait to hear your stories!
Now, for a song. This is a great old classic and seems very fitting for the Music Talk series. Let's all get lost in the rock and roll and drift away with Dobie Gray.
